Ralph L. Fellows, Sr.

New Springfield,
Ralph L Fellows, Sr, age 94, of New Springfield, Ohio passed on to be with the
Savior he loved on October 28, 2023, at Hampton Woods Assisted Living Center.
He married Emma Ruth Prosser on October 16, 1948,  and they raised 6 sons
together.
He began work at the steel mills and then worked as a carpenter for several years
and other jobs until he went to work for H.P. Nemenz Inc. as a maintenance man
in 1988. He decided to retire at the age of 82.
He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in New Middletown and the
Victory Christian Center in Lowellville. He was also a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame
in New Springfield.
He always had a big smile on his face and loved playing and swimming and telling
stories with his kids and grandkids. He loved working in his yard and garden and
taking care of all his animals over the years - chickens, ducks, cows, pigs, goats, and dogs.
He was born November 7, 1928,  in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Grace and Albert
Fellows. He was preceded in death by his siblings Tim Fellows, Thelma Petrick,
Florence Parsons, Agnes Struble, Ted Fellows, and Marianne Schmidt.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years and his sons, Ralph Jr (Kathy) of Niles, James
(Becky) of Columbiana, David (Debbie) of Austintown, Rod of North Benton, Ray
(Sandy) of New Springfield and Jay (Karen) of New Middletown. He leaves behind
to cherish his memory 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Terry Cunningham
Funeral Home, 203 Oak St., Bessemer, PA. Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:30 PM with
the funeral service to follow from 6:30 to 7:00 PM.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Hospice of the Valley or Victory Christian Center.
