Nancy (Pease) Spohn

Nancy Spohn, 77, of Mercer Pennsylvania passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Quality Life Services-Mercer. She was born Wednesday, January 8, 1947, in Macedonia Ohio, to the late Norman and Betty (Ungar) Pease. 

Nancy was a travel agent for more than 30 years and a regional manager of AWP Inc. Nancy was an adventurer. She was an owner-operator of a hot air balloon for 27 years and a member of the North East Balloon Pilots Association, she raced midget race cars and traveled to over 50 countries and all 50 states, but her greatest thrill was supporting her two grandchildren. She was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church

Nancy is survived by her husband of 29 years, George Spohn, whom she married on June 10, 1995; two stepsons, Gary Spohn of Chambersburg, and Brian (Fish) Spohn (Vicky) of Edinburg, and two grandchildren, Lilly Spohn and Blake Spohn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Betty.
 
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, July 19, 2024, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, Bessemer, PA.
     
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
 
Burial will take place in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
