Marsha A. Fry, 77, of Petersburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, April 18, 2025, at her residence. She was born June 4, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael and Nellie (Nestor) Goricki.
Marsha lived in Youngstown and attended East High School until her family moved to Poland. She graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1966. She was a surgical nurse for St. Elizabeth Hospital, retiring after 20 years of service.
Marsha loved every holiday, but her favorites were Easter, with her annual Easter egg hunt that she held for the children for over 30 years, and Halloween; she always had decorations inside and out, whether at home or camp. Marsha enjoyed camping every weekend. She always had candy for the children and her famous Jello shots for the adults, along with plenty of snacks and food for everyone, enormous campfires, and her favorite music was always playing from Bob Seger to Conway Twitty. Marsha was a very loving, kind, and generous woman, never thinking of herself. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, David Fry, brother, Michael Goricki, sister, Paula Downing, her life partner, Terry Seidner, and his daughters, Dennison and Joanna Seidner, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Terry Cunningham Funeral Home in Bessemer, PA.
