Lyle Q. McConahy

Lyle Q. McConahy, 86, of Bessemer, PA died Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at Jameson Care Center in New Castle, PA.
Lyle was born September 25, 1937 in Edinburg, PA.  He was the son of the late Quincey McConahy and Dorothy McConahy Davis of Edinburg, PA.  He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie E McConahy and 3 sisters Betty, Linda, and Shirley.
Lyle is survived by a sister, Sue McBride and husband Richard and two brothers Rick McConahy and Don McConahy.  Lyle was blessed with 4 sons and 1 daughter; Lonnie McConahy and wife Robin, Toby McConahy and wife Dana, James McConahy and wife Alexis, John Miller and wife Laura, and 1 daughter Angel Moran and husband Zack. He was also a proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Lyle was an usher and member of Victory Christian Center in Coitsville, OH.   He retired from Youngstown Welding and Engineering Co. in 1991, was employed by Noga Ambulance for 3 years and operated bustours at Zona Tours for 7 years following his retirement. 
Lyle was a professional auctioneer for over 20 years with his father Quincey McConahy, Cecil McConahy  (Uncle) and Don McConahy ( brother) with McConahy Bros. Auctioneers. 
Lyle also served 6 years in the Army National Guard.
A visitation will be from 4-7pm on Friday July 12th at Terry Cunningham Funeral home in Bessemer, PA.  A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 7pm with Reverend Matthew Bupp officiating.  Burial will be at First Covenant Church in Bessemer at 10am on Saturday morning.
