Lillian Lorraine (Rucinski) Cracraft passed away at her home in Carbon on August 12, 2024, just shy of her 96th birthday. She joins her beloved dancing partner "Flossy" in heaven.
She was born on August 21, 1928 in North Beaver Township, to the late Edna Rucinski Clark and Paul Rucinski.
Lillian was preceded in death by, her husband, Edwin Cracraft Sr., her grandson, James Cracraft, her son-in-law, Daniel Rice Sr., her oldest sister, Cecelia Johnson, and her best friend and sister-in-law Barb Cracraft.
In her younger days, Lillian played basketball and cheered for Bessemer High School. She was a member of the former Hillsville UM Church and the Berean Bible Class. She was also in the Women's Bowling League at Mohawk Lanes and was a supporting fan of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Lillian leaves behind three children who cherished her deeply; Edwin Cracraft Jr. (Shaine) of Austintown, OH, Dawn Hardesty (Bob) of Chesterland, OH and Lorraine Rice of Union/Pulaski Townships. Her many grandchildren will miss her immensely too: Edwin Cracraft III (Jen), Ginger Kupka, Kim Clark, Dan Rice Jr. (Ashley), Jeff Hardesty (Regina), Matthew Hardesty (Katie), and David Hardesty. Eight great-grandchildren, Edwin Cracraft IV, Antonio Belonga-Kupka, Keeghan Kupka, Presley Kupka, Tyler Wischerman, Pexton Clark, Lillian Hardesty and Emily Hardesty and great great-granddaughters, Elinore Kupka and Scarlett Elstad completed Lillian's circle of pride and joy. She also leaves behind her younger sister, Violet Romeo (Dick), and her brother, Eugene Rucinski (Barbara).
Lillian wanted to thank her neighbors and caretakers for watching over her, and helping her when she needed it.
Visitation for Lillian will be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, on Oak Street in Bessemer.
A funeral/burial services will take place immediately following visitation with the Rev. Russell Shuluga.
