Mrs. Josephine Abraham (Jo) 

Las Vegas, Nevada - Our beautiful mother, Josephine Cappiello Abraham, went to heaven on August 8, 2025. She was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on April 10, 1929. There she met the love of her life, James Abraham, also 13. They married at 19, and were together for 81 years. Her physical and mental strength were demonstrated as she supported her husband during his long military career. Constantly moving from the US to foreign countries, she always made sure that our home was beautiful and comfortable. Finally settling in Las Vegas in 1966 to the present, mom's priority was always her family.

She is survived by, her daughters, Patty Abraham, Vicki Abraham Wickman, and Joni Raizk; her son, James Abraham II; sisters, Rachel Pallott, Jean Williams, Patti (Sam) Costa, and Carol (Dick) Alfera; ten beautiful grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Jo is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Minnie (Mazzocco) Cappiello, her husband James Abraham, her daughter Jamie Lynn, her sister and brother in law, Clare and Joe Canfora, her sister, Jenny Cappiello, her brother Patsy Cappiello, her granddaughter, Erin Raizk Lincoln, and a brother in law, Jack Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm at St. Vitus Cemetery Chapel, 2699 Old Pittsburgh Rd., New Castle, PA, 16101. Friends and family can gather at the Chapel from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
