Joseph D. "Butch" Nestasie

Joseph D. "Butch" Nestasie age 75 of Hillsville passed on December 26, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born on March 4, 1950 to Joseph and Jean (Ague) Nestasie in Youngstown, OH.

Joseph worked as a Millwright for Sharon Steel. He was a member of the Mahoning Sportsman's Club, enjoyed hunting, loved riding his motorcycle and he was involved in politics for many years. But most of all he loved his family.

Joseph is survived by his sons, John Nestasie, Joey Nestasie, and Anthony Nestasie; brothers, James Nestasie, Robert Nestasie, and Thomas Nestasie; and sister, Donna Annichini.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley (Suzie).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak St., Bessemer, PA. A Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home.
