John Fox, 76, of Enon Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at Masternick Memorial in New Middletown, Ohio.
Born on January 20, 1950, John was the beloved son of the late Donald and Anne Fox. He built a life grounded in hard work, family, and a deep appreciation for the land. In his early years, he worked alongside his father and uncle at Fox Dairy. He later worked at Baird Brothers in Canfield, Ohio, where he remained until his retirement in 2018.
On June 1, 1991, John married the love of his life, Bonnie. Together, they shared many joyful years, building a life centered on family and shared interests. One of their greatest joys was raising and showing miniature horses, a hobby they cherished alongside their daughter and extended family.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Dr. Kelli Fox; his sister-in-law, Jeanette Himes and her husband, Leo Himes; his niece, Nichole Himes; and his nephew, Brian Himes and his wife, Rachel Himes. He is also survived by his step-sister, Lee Ann (Rick) Martin; his step-brother, Edward (Carol) Byers; and several great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry forward his memory.
John was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Bonnie; his parents, Donald and Anne Fox; his step-mother, Anna Byers Fox; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Irene and Arthur Lehman; and his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and James Wernert.
John will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of family, and the quiet joy he found in life’s simple pleasures.
A memorial service will be held at Westfield Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 17 at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Nathan Leslie officiating.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
