Eugene Rucinski Sr.

Eugene A. Rucinski Sr., 91, of Bessemer, Pennsylvania passed away on August 21, 2025. Eugene Sr. was born on March 5, 1934, at home in Bessemer PA, to Paul and Edna Rucinski. He grew up and raised his family in Bessemer.

Eugene was a long-standing member of the community: supporting local activities through his years as a baseball coach and participating in bowling leagues. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he introduced his sons to the love of hunting and fishing.

Eugene was married to Barbara (DeLeone) Rucinski for more than 70 years. The couple were married in Decatur, Indiana in January of 1954. Upon their return to Pennsylvania, the couple celebrated their union with family and friends.

Eugene leaves behind two sons, Eugene Jr. (Francine) Rucinski and Paul (Christine) Rucinski, six grandchildren, Adam (Stephanie), Adam’s twin sister, Kristin (William), Candis (Justin), Paul A., Nicholas (Amanda), and Dillon. Also included in the Rucinski family are ten great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Eugene, was preceded in death by, his wife Barbara and his youngest son, Gary Rucinski.

The opportunity to pay respects to the family will take place at Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak St., Bessemer, PA on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
